Welcome! We are so happy to share The Mildred Haus & Guest Haus with you! It is one of those special Hill Country homes that retains its historic charm and yet has modern amenities. Located in the Texas Hill Country in Mason, Texas. (45 min from Fredericksburg, 1.5 hours from Austin and San Antonio), it’s the perfect weekend getaway when the bluebonnets abound in the spring! If you haven’t been to Mason yet, you are in for a treat! In the mornings, enjoy coffee on one of 2 victorian porches or the view from the deck while listening to the birds wake up and watching the hummingbirds.
The Mildred Haus is within walking distance to the historic Mason Square and this Square was named by Texas Monthly as one of the top 5 Texas Squares. After a day on the town (wine-tasting, shopping, museums, dining) or a day of recreation (kayaking, fishing, topaz hunting), come back home to historic luxury and enjoy an evening around the fire pit and star gazing with friends.
